python-nxt-filer software package provides simple GUI to manage files on a LEGO Mindstorms NXT, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-nxt-filer
python-nxt-filer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-nxt-filer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-nxt-filer *
You will get with python-nxt-filer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
